A frenetic montage of images that stem from dreams nightmares and childhood memories and Surrealism, with homages to Rene Magritte. This film includes special visual effects that were all achieved through Super 8 filmmaking along with miniatures, puppets, masks and animation. This film reflects a storytelling style that I started developing where I have ideas and images that stem purely from emotional energy which were then organized into story form and then the story is thrown out and the film becomes montage only. My hope was to create a universal emotional experience without relying on a story that only concerns the central character. The character then becomes more of a trickster in a dream as we experience the imagery around and within him possibly as our own experience.
